Tommy Malek (Director and Choreographer) is currently serving as the Artistic Director of Silhouette Stages where he has been an active board member since 2015, and has also served for the last five years as the Founding Artistic Director of the purple light theatre company. He is currently directing and choreographing 9 to 5 the Musical with Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre opening August 2018. Other recent directing/ choregraphy credits include Young Frankenstein with Silhouette Stages (included in Maryland Theatre Guide's "Top 10 Shows of 2016" and "Top 5 Shows of the Week"), Cry Baby the Musical (Silhouette Stages), Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray, & Into the Woods (the purple light theatre company),  and Once Upon a Mattress (UMBC). He was most recently seen onstage as Mr. Shellhammer in Miracle on 34th Street at Toby's Dinner Theatre. Other recent acting credits include Sir Robin  in Spamalot  (Silhouette Stages, Inc.), Bobby Strong in Urinetown (The Heritage Players), and Hunter in [title of show] (the purple light theatre company). A native of the Baltimore area, Tommy continues to work as a theatre artist in  MD/DC/VA and currently serves as a Costume Shop Manager at Toby's Dinner Theatre of Columbia. 

Rachel Sandler (Music Director) is currently studying with Ah Hong at the Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute for her MM 2018 Vocal Performance/Pedagogy. She received her BM from James Madison University in Vocal Performance where she studied with Dr. Dorothy Maddison. Rachel has taken on many roles in the world of musical theatre including music director, assistant music director, rehearsal pianist, and conductor. Credits include Sweet Charity, Spring Awakening, All Shook Up, Sweeney Todd (James Madison), Assassins, Cabaret (Stratford Players), Avenue Q (Red Branch), Lysistrata Jones (Red Branch) and Cry Baby (Statesmen Theatre & Silhouette Stages). Recently, she was also seen onstage as Philia in Silhouette Stages’ production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Operatic roles include Zoe in Sukey in the Dark (Peabody Opera/Theatre Project), Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte (Trackside Theatre), First Lady in Die Zauberflöte (New York Lyric Opera) and Cousin Hebe in HMS Pinafore (James Madison University).​ Rachel has experience teaching classical, pop and musical theatre repertoire to both voice and piano to students of all levels and currently runs a private home studio in Hanover, MD. rachelsandlermusic.com
